About this opportunity

The diving internship at Blue Water Diving is a brilliant opportunity for you to gain real life experience of working in a dive centre. As unlike completing the Divemaster Course the internship will allow you to work within the dive centre to gain valuable experience and knowledge to become a professional diver who knows the in’s and out’s of running a dive centre. To enhance your diving skills you will be diving most days to ensure you are comfortable in the water and gain the necessary experience and logged dives to be able to effectively manage any diving scenario. During the four week duration you shall be awarded with - * Padi Rescue Diver * Emergency First Response * Padi Divemaster Course * Equipment Rental * Fun Diving (you will need to reach a minimum of 60 logged dives for the divemaster course) * PADI Project Aware Speciality (Optional) * PADI Dive Against Debris Speciality (Optional) The price of the Divemaster course is 500 euros plus the material needed to complete the course.Blue Water Diving also offers you the opportunity to go from ZERO TO HERO! You can advance from having no prior diving experience to reach Divemaster level. Price is available upon request. Don't let your lack of experience get in the way! SGS Government Solutions is seeking a Master Diver \ Diver First Class to support operations at an RQS in Portland, OR. The candidate shall research available and emerging technologies and work with the customer diving program manager to identify areas where technology advances in diving and maritime operations can benefit the customer. Specifically, the candidate should look for solutions to technology gaps, resource protection, and enhanced equipment training methodology that will save training time, funding, or enhance combat survivability of operators during water operations. Technical: The candidate shall assist the customer by providing technical experience in the operation and maintenance of assigned diving equipment, boats, and outboard motors, and operate boats during unit dive operations at the discretion of the customer. In addition, candidate dive locker candidates shall support development of waterborne operations procedures designed to enhance the combat readiness and collective skills of customer operator personnel.

This position is replacing a Master Diver who's looking to retire but would like to cross train / data dump to the incoming Master Diver which shouldn't take more than 1 week.
