About this opportunity

Would you like to start your diving career and live the dream of becoming a Padi Pro. Blue Water Diving is based in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria and we are offering an exhilarating 4 - 6 week internship. During this time with us you will work closely alongside of one of our Instructors who will guide you through the courses until you reach your goal as a Padi Divemaster. We are a small dive centre and we have limited places available for the internship. But we ensure good quality training and fun throughout your time with us. We have different packages available depending on your current qualification level - You dont have any diving experince? No problem, join us for 6 weeks on our zero - Divemaster programme. You have already your Open Water Diver qualification... we have a 5 week package available. If you are a Advanced Open Water Diver then join us for 4 weeks. During your time you will also gain the required 60 logged dives. Equipment hire is included through the courses. SGS Government Solutions is seeking a Master Diver \ Diver First Class to support operations at an RQS in Portland, OR. The candidate shall research available and emerging technologies and work with the customer diving program manager to identify areas where technology advances in diving and maritime operations can benefit the customer. Specifically, the candidate should look for solutions to technology gaps, resource protection, and enhanced equipment training methodology that will save training time, funding, or enhance combat survivability of operators during water operations. Technical: The candidate shall assist the customer by providing technical experience in the operation and maintenance of assigned diving equipment, boats, and outboard motors, and operate boats during unit dive operations at the discretion of the customer. In addition, candidate dive locker candidates shall support development of waterborne operations procedures designed to enhance the combat readiness and collective skills of customer operator personnel.

Specifically, the candidate should look for solutions to technology gaps, resource protection, and enhanced equipment training methodology that will save training time, funding, or enhance combat survivability of operators during water operations. Technical: The candidate shall assist the customer by providing technical experience in the operation and maintenance of assigned diving equipment, boats, and outboard motors, and operate boats during unit dive operations at the discretion of the customer. In addition, candidate dive locker candidates shall support development of waterborne operations procedures designed to enhance the combat readiness and collective skills of customer operator personnel. This position is replacing a Master Diver who's looking to retire but would like to cross train / data dump to the incoming Master Diver which shouldn't take more than 1 week.
