About this opportunity

SSI Divemaster internship for summer 2022 starting end of May until end of September All SSI fees up to DM level are included Accommodation included in shared apartment Breakfast and dinner buffet included Working hours per day 8 Tips are shared equally We can arrange 2-4 days off per month for each intern. Half day offs are more flexible depending the day's schedule Interns will participate always with an Instructor's presence at Try Scuba Dives, Courses, Fun Dives, Snorkel Trips and Swimming Pool Demos Dive gear for interns can be provided by the dive center Dan insurance is provided by the dive center Preparation handling and taking care of diving equipment will be an every day's responsibility of each intern The dive base is located inside Kerveli Village Hotel next to the sea and our private dock used to load-unload diving gear Although this job offers the opportunity to spend a great summer diving in a Greek island candidates must consider themselves responsible enough to handle it and be sure that they can act as professionals giving priority to their duties and the dive center's needs

SGS Government Solutions is seeking a Master Diver \ Diver First Class to support operations at an RQS in Portland, OR. The candidate shall research available and emerging technologies and work with the customer diving program manager to identify areas where technology advances in diving and maritime operations can benefit the customer. Specifically, the candidate should look for solutions to technology gaps, resource protection, and enhanced equipment training methodology that will save training time, funding, or enhance combat survivability of operators during water operations. Technical: The candidate shall assist the customer by providing technical experience in the operation and maintenance of assigned diving equipment, boats, and outboard motors, and operate boats during unit dive operations at the discretion of the customer. In addition, candidate dive locker candidates shall support development of waterborne operations procedures designed to enhance the combat readiness and collective skills of customer operator personnel.

This position is replacing a Master Diver who's looking to retire but would like to cross train / data dump to the incoming Master Diver which shouldn't take more than 1 week.
