About this opportunity

Our Diving Center located on the South of Tenerife, Canary Islands, is looking for a young, energetic, solar and extrovert Divemaster/ Instructor to help us between June and December 2019. Our typical day consists of two dives in the morning and one in the afternoon. The Dive Pro is suppose to pickup and drive our guests to and from the dive sites, assist and guide them during the dive excursions. Due to the weather conditions in Summer we mainly go out from shore but in October and November we finally get to go out pretty often by boat. We have the highest biodiversity in Europe and proud ourselves of a great customer. Our mission it is to share our passion and love for the ocean sensibilizing our guests about environmental marine conservation. We offer: - commissions on sales; - basic salary with legal contract; - young and cheerful work environment; - staff discount on equipment; - staff discount on courses; - 1 or 2 days off per week depending on the schedules.

Required certifications

Divemaster or Instructor. Preferably Oxygen provider and Deep Specialty

SGS Government Solutions is seeking a Master Diver \ Diver First Class to support operations at an RQS in Portland, OR. The candidate shall research available and emerging technologies and work with the customer diving program manager to identify areas where technology advances in diving and maritime operations can benefit the customer. Specifically, the candidate should look for solutions to technology gaps, resource protection, and enhanced equipment training methodology that will save training time, funding, or enhance combat survivability of operators during water operations. Technical: The candidate shall assist the customer by providing technical experience in the operation and maintenance of assigned diving equipment, boats, and outboard motors, and operate boats during unit dive operations at the discretion of the customer. In addition, candidate dive locker candidates shall support development of waterborne operations procedures designed to enhance the combat readiness and collective skills of customer operator personnel.

Technical: The candidate shall assist the customer by providing technical experience in the operation and maintenance of assigned diving equipment, boats, and outboard motors, and operate boats during unit dive operations at the discretion of the customer. In addition, candidate dive locker candidates shall support development of waterborne operations procedures designed to enhance the combat readiness and collective skills of customer operator personnel. This position is replacing a Master Diver who's looking to retire but would like to cross train / data dump to the incoming Master Diver which shouldn't take more than 1 week.
