We are a leading diving holiday online travel agency who are seeking enthusiastic German-speaking/writing individuals with excellent writing/editing abilities. Working remotely from the comfort of your home you’ll be required to deliver well written, accurate work sometimes under tight deadlines. We’re looking for German Dive writers/editors who have excellent written grammar skills in both German & English. We currently have dive & travel content pages on our website that we require rewriting from English into German. Native English or German speakers are preferred. This position is available to non-divers as well as all levels of certified divers. Ideally candidates will be familiar with the Scuba diving industry and the terminology used as this is a large focus of the content. • Rewriting of English content into German, to produce well written articles • Ensuring use of keywords & phrases throughout content • Use of simple HTML code for text formatting • Excellent understanding of written English to be able to rewrite into original German content • Previous translation/re-writing experience is desirable (Blogs, websites etc), but not essential This is not a full-time position, but a scheduled project expected to last approximately 4-5 weeks from start. It will require a commitment of translating/writing/editing a minimum of 10,000 words from English into German per week. SGS Government Solutions is seeking a Master Diver \ Diver First Class to support operations at an RQS in Portland, OR. The candidate shall research available and emerging technologies and work with the customer diving program manager to identify areas where technology advances in diving and maritime operations can benefit the customer. Specifically, the candidate should look for solutions to technology gaps, resource protection, and enhanced equipment training methodology that will save training time, funding, or enhance combat survivability of operators during water operations. Technical: The candidate shall assist the customer by providing technical experience in the operation and maintenance of assigned diving equipment, boats, and outboard motors, and operate boats during unit dive operations at the discretion of the customer. In addition, candidate dive locker candidates shall support development of waterborne operations procedures designed to enhance the combat readiness and collective skills of customer operator personnel.

This position is replacing a Master Diver who's looking to retire but would like to cross train / data dump to the incoming Master Diver which shouldn't take more than 1 week.
