Adventure DIvers Bali is seeking an Instructor We are a small but busy dive center based in Amed on the East coast of Bali. Currently with travel restrictions we are not that busy but still do service a small local market. Once the world returns to normality we hope to be busy again. There are some additional setup costs involved and we cant promise you a great income right now but you would be able to get by and enjoy living in a special place until things improve. The primary language is English, which must be spoken clearly without a ridiculous accent. We have a fully international market so additional languages are a plus. We need you to be professional, presentable, enthusiastic, reliable, flexible, team player, customer orientated whilst also understanding the needs of the dive center. You have to be a hard worker... capable of running multiple course in the same day and you actually have to carry stuff as well. Earning potential is really quite reasonable (probably the best in the region) but if making money is your primary goal you are probably in the wrong industry. Primary duties are teaching, mostly Open Water, Advanced and Intro's. Occassional Rescue, Specialties and DM courses. You are rarely required to guide. Some late shiftseach week to help cover the shop in the evenings for sales and enquires. The majority of the training is through SSI but also some PADI. We prefer if you have both but SSI is the priority. Crossovers to SSI can easily be arranged. No fixed day off, when we are busy we work, when we are quiet you have more time off. Average working day usually from 07:30 to 15:30. Holidays available during the low season. The quality of the training we provide it very important to us, our reputation is built upon this. We prefer that you already have some experience and are also open to further guidance. We don't just issue certificates we actually teach people. All you need to do is make the effort to share your knowledge whilst ensuring your students enjoy the experience. Long term committment preferred, minimum 1 year. Most of our instructors stay with us for years. Start date would be around mid February. Possible office position available as well. SGS Government Solutions is seeking a Master Diver \ Diver First Class to support operations at an RQS in Portland, OR. The candidate shall research available and emerging technologies and work with the customer diving program manager to identify areas where technology advances in diving and maritime operations can benefit the customer. Specifically, the candidate should look for solutions to technology gaps, resource protection, and enhanced equipment training methodology that will save training time, funding, or enhance combat survivability of operators during water operations. Technical: The candidate shall assist the customer by providing technical experience in the operation and maintenance of assigned diving equipment, boats, and outboard motors, and operate boats during unit dive operations at the discretion of the customer. In addition, candidate dive locker candidates shall support development of waterborne operations procedures designed to enhance the combat readiness and collective skills of customer operator personnel.

Specifically, the candidate should look for solutions to technology gaps, resource protection, and enhanced equipment training methodology that will save training time, funding, or enhance combat survivability of operators during water operations. Technical: The candidate shall assist the customer by providing technical experience in the operation and maintenance of assigned diving equipment, boats, and outboard motors, and operate boats during unit dive operations at the discretion of the customer. In addition, candidate dive locker candidates shall support development of waterborne operations procedures designed to enhance the combat readiness and collective skills of customer operator personnel. This position is replacing a Master Diver who's looking to retire but would like to cross train / data dump to the incoming Master Diver which shouldn't take more than 1 week.
