Seacamp Association, Inc Seeks SCUBA Instructors and Divemasters Location: Big Pine Key, Florida Seacamp is looking for dynamic SCUBA Instructors interested in teaching teenagers basic certification courses and leading dives for certified divers. Instructors prepare and conduct Skin diving, NAUI SCUBA Diver, NAUI Master Diver, and Seacamp’s own selection of Marine Science Investigations classes for teenagers. Instructors also train staff in NAUI Rescue Diver and NAUI Skin Diving Instructor to prepare them to act as snorkeling and SCUBA assistants. Instructors participate in all camp functions and assist in camper supervision. The candidate shall research available and emerging technologies and work with the customer diving program manager to identify areas where technology advances in diving and maritime operations can benefit the customer. Specifically, the candidate should look for solutions to technology gaps, resource protection, and enhanced equipment training methodology that will save training time, funding, or enhance combat survivability of operators during water operations. Technical: The candidate shall assist the customer by providing technical experience in the operation and maintenance of assigned diving equipment, boats, and outboard motors, and operate boats during unit dive operations at the discretion of the customer. In addition, candidate dive locker candidates shall support development of waterborne operations procedures designed to enhance the combat readiness and collective skills of customer operator personnel.

Technical: The candidate shall assist the customer by providing technical experience in the operation and maintenance of assigned diving equipment, boats, and outboard motors, and operate boats during unit dive operations at the discretion of the customer. In addition, candidate dive locker candidates shall support development of waterborne operations procedures designed to enhance the combat readiness and collective skills of customer operator personnel. This position is replacing a Master Diver who's looking to retire but would like to cross train / data dump to the incoming Master Diver which shouldn't take more than 1 week.
