This internship runs from July first to September 30th 2022 (90 days) You can apply if you are between 18 to 25 years old. Prerequisites: - Be in possession of a medical certificate stating you are fit for watersports and specific for scuba diving if that is your choice (these certificates can be given by any registered physician). - Speak English fluently and at least one other language such as German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Polish or Russian. We will take more into account those applicants who can speak several languages, have previous experience in watersports or have studies/degrees in tourism, sports, marketing... PADI Divers carry the most respected scuba diving credentials in the world. No matter where you choose to dive, your PADI certification card will be recognized and accepted. - www.padi.com Program 1 includes: - Padi Open Water Diver certification - Padi Advanced Diver certification - Emergency First Response (EFR) and PADI Rescue Diver certification. total value = $ 1474 Usd (medical certificate for scuba diving is mandatory) *These are the first three levels of recreational diving certifications. With these you can go diving anywhere in the world. But they will not allow you to have a professional career in diving yet, for that you will need to complete an extra step in your journey and become a PADI Divemaster. Program 2 - Scuba Diving Pro Did you already do the first diving courses and now you want to go pro? If you join this program, you will be a full member of our team for three months, which allows you to gain more experience while you go diving! In order to start your traineeship you need to be a PADI Rescue Diver with at least 40 logged dives. Your main activity will be diving and assisting the pro members, such as PADI Instructors and Divemasters. Besides that, you will also take part in pool test dives getting to meet people from everywhere around the world. Program 2 includes: - PADI Divemaster Course - PADI Divemaster certification fee Total Value = $ 1034 USD (medical certificate for scuba diving mandatory) Program 3 - Snorkeling Guide & Sealife Guide Snorkeling is the most practiced watersport worldwide. In ScubaCaribe we have developed our own “distinctive training” after years of experience in the field. You will be able to complete this program and be ready to guide snorkeling groups in the water in many situations and environments. This is a valuable program that rewards you with a ScubaCaribe diploma upon its completion. Program 4 - Public relations & front desk If you are the kind of person who enjoys organizing activities, talking to people, and providing information while getting to know guests from around the world this is for you. You will be in contact with resort guests for a major part of the day while practicing your best communication skills. All into the daily operation working hand in hand with your watersports colleagues. You will learn or improve your skills in your favourite activity. You can also introduce clients to the use of the equipment and safety aspects, in maintenance/handling of equipment, or in administration and sales. Besides the program of your choosing, if you are accepted you will be involved in almost all aspects of a watersports center daily operation. This internship surely will be lots of fun and learning.
